One caveat, you MUST execute the patch as soon as you enter the main menu or else the game will not recognize the shield and will delete it from your inventory (only true if your Bigg Thumppr/Pot O' Gold has Maliwan parts). To solve this, I just copied the codes for Maliwan parts from a Hide of Terramorphous over to a Pot O' Gold shield and it seems to work just fine. If you try to make a Pot O' Gold in the save editor, there are no options for Maliwan parts available. Making a perfect version of this shield in Gibbed Save Editor is not so straight forward, however. With UCP 4.1 active, it is now possible to farm for a Bigg Thumppr with an elemental immunity from Donkey Mong or Bagman.
This version of the patch also allows the Pot O' Gold shield to spawn with any manufacturer's parts, including Maliwan parts that confer elemental immunity.
